Puff the dragon Abracadabra

Puff The Magic Dragon The text for "Puff the Magic Dragon" were based on a 1959 poem by Leonard Lipton, a nineteen-year-old student at Cornell. Lipton was an Ogden Nash poem titled "Custard the Dragon" inspired a "Really-O Truly-O, little pet dragon". Lipton passed his poem created to friend and fellow Cornell student Peter Yarrow, music and more texts to make the poem into the song. In 1961, Paul Stookey and Mary Travers came Yarrow of Peter, Paul and Mary form. The grouprecorded the song in their live performances before recording in 1962. The lyrics tell a story of the ageless dragon Puff and his playmate Jackie Paper, a little boy grows up and loses interest in the imaginary adventures of childhood and leaves Puff alone and depressed. The history of the song is "at sea" in the land of fantasy Honah Lee. A 1978 animated film, Puff the Magic Dragon, fits the song. [1] A 2007 book adaptation of the lyrics by Yarrow, Lipton andIllustrator Eric Puybaret gives the story a happier end to be with a young girl (probably by the reviewers to be Jackie Paper's daughter [2]) search for Puff to his new companion. Three animated specials were also based on the song. Puff, The Magic Dragon lived by the sea and romped in the autumn mist in a land called honah Lee, Little Jackie Paper loved that rascal Puff, and brought him strings and sealing wax and other fancy things. lived oh Puff, The Magic Dragon by the sea and jokingin
